• Welcome to my personal site.

• My name is Mingjun Wang and I often go by Barry. I currently work as the analytics manager for product optimization and web analytics at Expedia Group for the lodging shopping path. In the past, I have some professional work experience in product analytics and marketing research as well as some research experience in text mining and predictive modeling with a publication of text mining and predictive modeling research for using Twitter for next Place prediction, with an application to crime prediction.

  • I have lived in 7 cities in 2 countries for more than 3 years each in the past 25 years while I live in Chicago now
  • I have a beautiful wife who I met in 15 years old :)
